Hi All! I hope you had a great weekend! I can't believe that it is the last week in July. This summer is going by way to fast. I have decided to feature a different storecipe (story and recipe) each week. These storecipes will consist of submissions for the book that have an easy and delicious recipe along with a touching story. I will also have photos for everyone to see each step of the cooking process. So, if you have any submissions and would like to be featured on the blog, please send them to contact@bittersweet-memories.com or submit through the website at www.bittersweet-memories.com. I can't wait to start a new branch of the Bittersweet Memories.
Just to keep everyone updated, we are still working on the book and doing a ton of editing on all of the touching submissions. We will be collecting submissions through the end of November. Please try and get them in sooner rather than later as we have a deadline to meet!

Chicago Now Ay Mama
Today, I received an email from a woman named, Nina Goyco. Nina is a Chicago Now blogger for Ay Mama! She is interested in submitting to "A Blending of Bittersweet Memories" and will blog about it within the next few weeks so keep a look out! Her link is:

She writes fun and cute blogs that, like Bittersweet Memories, links recipes to personal stories. What I love about her recipes is that they are so easy to follow. Nina gives a step by step picture guide of how to make recipes. Her finished products are masterpieces, but what would normally seem difficult to make becomes very doable with her photos! Here are some that you should try!
