I have recently leaned of two great food websites that focus on healthy and organic eating. The first is Elana's Pantry. Elana is woman who formed ecosav, an environmental consulting firm, specializing in recycling. She studied ayurvedic cooking and decided to take her cooking to the next level when she and her son were diagnosed with celiac disease. Celiac disease is an inherited autoimmune disorder triggered by eating gluten. Elana's cooking took on an entirely new dimension as her family was now on a gluten-free diet. She needed to make gluten-free foods that tasted like regular food so that her family would enjoy it. Elana has developed a blog which then led her to publish a book called "The Gluten-Free Almond Flour Cookbook". It is fabulous and so is her website which sends out emails with new and creative gluten free, healthy recipes. Check it out! You will not be disappointed!
The second great website was just launched and is called Real Mom's Love to Eat. The Real Moms Love to Eat website is about foods that help real moms live and love life. Beth Aldrich, the founder of the site and soon to be book, says that Real Moms need to take good care of themselves if they want to take good care of their families, without sacrificing the joys of life. She founded this project to encourage moms to focus on their health and happiness, both equally important. The website shares great food ideas, recipes and tips.
Check out these two websites to help you become a stronger, happier, and healthier you!
